Renovation of Palma de Mallorca Airport

Processor building

The new security checkpoints are located in a different area, so the passenger circulation flow changes. The project includes the renovation of its retail offer in a new space, which incorporates a large outdoor terrace so passengers can enjoy it while waiting for their flight. It also incorporates a new vertical circulation core between the different levels of the airport.

Module A

Renovation of the Old Terminal, with new spaces, more natural light, a new passport control area, and modern walkways connecting to the Processor Building. The terminal also adds additional boarding bridges at both ends, directly linking the terminal to the aircraft to provide a higher-quality, more comfortable service.

Module D

In this module, new connections are being built to the Processor Building to shorten transfer times and streamline passenger flows. In addition, three new boarding bridges are planned, reducing the use of buses on the apron and therefore lowering emissions.

Improvements in Module D

Outside arrivals area

A more comfortable and efficient space has been created for public transport, combining the EMT and TIB bus stops. In addition, a new elevated walkway will improve safety for passengers and companions, who will no longer have to cross paths with vehicles.
